Do you want to become a successful fiction writer? Are you still in the initial stage of your career?

Creating Literary Stories: A Fiction Writer’s Guide is a book written to help amateur writers to cross the various hurdles to write a fiction story. It was written by William H. Coles, an author who has won awards such as the Flannery O’ Connor Award for Short Fiction. His book mainly covers two parts. In the first part, he discussed the various elements of literary fiction like the importance of narration, Point-of-View's and, why a Literary Story fails. In the second part, he discussed the creation of a Literary Fiction story which will be very helpful to all the writers.

What I like most about this book is the detailing of every section that he mentioned. It is easy to understand the language that he used. As I want to become a writer, I felt this book provided me with information that is required to start a book. He mentioned both positive and negative examples for each category so that readers find the difference between them. He discusses various perceptions and problems with that. He mentioned Literary Fiction with a beautiful statement, "We are born, we are active, but we are always moving toward the solitude and inaction of motionless death. In fiction, writers succumb to this natural tendency to write stories that seek a state of inertia, a state where nothing happens." - Page 31.

There is nothing to dislike about this book. As he is a famous award-winner. The book is very engaging in every aspect that we do not lose our interest.

This book is highly recommended to all people who want to become successful writers. This book is also helpful for the beginners to start a story.

In conclusion, I rate this book four out of four stars. You will get the required confidence to write a book for sure.
