The book Betrayal Of Faith by Mark M. Bello begins with a family who lost a husband and father in a tragic death while on a job leaving Jennifer Tracey to hire Zachery Blake to help settle matters regarding his death. She was pleased with Mr. Blake, but still had to deal with her sons' whose hearts were broken again after their friend and priest, Father Bill is transferred and replaced by Father Gerry. The family endures what most parents fear the most, and Zachery Blake is hired once again to help the family through yet another tragic event. They work as a team to make sure that the people involved in what one would call a conspiracy is exposed to try and keep members of similar communities safe.

This book gets 4 out 4 stars from me since it is a subject extremely sensitive. Regardless, it is one that must be discussed. Although it isn't based on a true story, it is not my opinion, it is a fact that what the author writes about has happened. He uses the right language each character whose role they play with emotion suitable for the scene. It brings up questions that he later answers, and that's what kept me reading with only a few breaks.

The negative part of the book is that it is a sensative subject and the sexual content is not what one would want to read about. However, the author so eloquntly writes about it in a way one would be able to read without cringing or feeling uncomfortable. Other than that, the positive side to this is that it is somewhat of an exposure to something that is so taboo, and it shouldn't be making a negative aspect on the subject

The author brings the characters to life bringing every emotion out of me as I read. The scenes are detailed, with only three or four mistakes and mostly unnoticable vulgar language. Well written and edited it is easy to read and understand.

I recommend this book for those of all ages with supervision by adults for those under eighteen. Once again, I can't stress enough how it may not be a true story, but in reality there are similar stories that should be discussed. Awareness and prevention is the theme of the book.
