Review of Temptation Trials Part II
Temptation Trials Part II by B. Truly is amazing. It brings about the aspect of temptations in the society and this is really relatable to our modern day life.
The author talks about temptations that people face on a daily basis. The temptations in this book involve lust that is the epitome of damnation among others. The author clearly brings out characters who have played different roles in explaining the temptation of lust, how it happens in the society and its repercussions at the very end.
The positive aspect of this book is that its plot is well placed such that the reader of the book can clearly understand what the author is trying to put across. The temptation of lust has been well described in this book and the characters chosen have helped to portray it clearly. Society has been crippled by this temptation and the results are hazardous. In several instances we can see people succumbing to the temptation of lust everywhere including in public. We can also see people cheating on their significant others due to this. For example a character by the name Stefani and her significant other have been portrayed as having cheated on each other due to the temptation of lust. Eminence, who happens to be the son of Lucifer in this book, has supernatural powers that are making people realize lust, thus leading to a society that is full of sin and one that lacks morals. He uses his powers to force people to commit this sin but in the end a group of friends who stuck together to fight against him were able to succeed in crushing him and bringing the world back to normal.
The negative aspect of this book is the fact that the story involves many different characters and if you are not able to follow up closely you may not fully understand the book. This is because the minor characters of the book keep on coming up so the reader must be very keen in order to understand the book. Another negative aspect is that the book contains religious quotations from the Bible and this might not be very appealing to people who are not comfortable or those who do not profess to the Christian faith.
I would rate this book a three out of four. It is really interesting if you read it keenly and understand the message in it.
I would recommend this book to persons who are eighteen years and above. This is because the book has on several instances used profane language and there is also a lot of erotic content in it and this can be really upsetting to persons below the age of eighteen.
