How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy is a self-development book that helps to achieve success by getting motivated and build a better future for ourselves by getting inspired through the stories of successful people. This book is a beautiful amalgamation of success stories from world-renowned achievers. It builds confidence and helps in gaining quick insight into our shortcomings.

The author himself is an achiever; he has experienced all the highs and lows of life. With a vision of helping people in his life and the reader's lives, he has interviewed the success stories of people along with his ideas and brought up this awe-inspiring book. Building a good habit, having a positive attitude, not wasting your life, having character traits like honesty, integrity, and making new friends are few things mentioned in this book.

The book summarizes how successful people have built their lives. What do they value the most, their strengths, and how do they utilize them to their success. Knowing one's weakness is also a strength. Working on that flaw by hiring or asking people makes the overall aim accomplished. The contents of the book itself give a clear view of things which we have been missing out. Knowing that a successful person has gone through many setbacks and has made it possible to turn their lives into success gives us a lot of motivation.

The interviews consist of a similar set of questions to different people. The answers almost resemble in many cases. Few more interviews of people with different beliefs would have been great. The working title of the book was success, motivation, and inspiration. The original name was more suiting the book than the present title.

Overall, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. It is a well-edited book with minor errors. The author and the interviewees have quoted few things from the Bible, which might not be relatable to some people. I recommend this book to all the people who have dreams, need a little push for a big start, find motivation, and know the little secrets to success. It is an inspiring book for entrepreneurs and to every other person who wants to make positive changes in their lives.
