Please Don’t Tell Cooper He’s A Dog is a lovely book for children. The book’s main character is Cooper, a charming stray dog who was rescued from the shelter. Cooper’s family takes such good care of him that he believes he is also a human. He doesn’t act like other dogs and loves watching ballet and going skiing with his family. He even knows how to use the toilet and eat from a plate!

Please Don’t Tell Cooper He’s A Dog is written by Michelle Lander Feinberg. According to the book, Michelle Lander Feinberg is an attorney who actively supports animal welfare organizations. By writing the book, the author wanted to spread awareness about the importance of adopting animals from shelters. Please Don’t Tell Cooper He’s A Dog is illustrated by a talented Italian illustrator, Anna Mosca. Mosca’s illustrations are adorable and positively impact the reading process and attract the reader’s attention.

There are many things that I enjoyed about the book. As I mentioned earlier, the illustrations are very appealing and nicely demonstrate Cooper’s adventures. It is fascinating to learn about Cooper’s life and his preferences. It is important to note that the book is humorous and includes fun stories. For example, when the family tries to convince Cooper that he is a dog, he gets offended and decides to travel. He visits France, Italy, and Switzerland before returning home.

There wasn’t anything that I disliked about the book. In my opinion, children will love reading the book and getting to know Cooper. Please Don’t Tell Cooper He’s A Dog has an interesting plot, charming characters, and colorful illustrations. The book inspires people to rescue animals from shelters and give them loving homes. Michelle Lander Feinberg included information on pet adoption at the end of the book. Those who would like to adopt a pet from the shelter can do so by following the link she provided. According to Feinberg, the website connects nearly all shelters in one place and helps families find their new pets.

Overall, I rate Please Don’t Tell Cooper He’s A Dog 4 out of 4 stars. I gave the book a perfect rating as it promotes an important message and entertains children. The adorable illustrations can easily capture children’s attention and keep them entertained as they get to know Cooper. I would recommend this book to preschoolers. However, children of all ages can enjoy the book.

This sounds like a cute book. Its title is the most appealing! Cooper seems like a very cute ballet-loving dog  Thanks for the beautiful review.
