We are Voulhire: A new arrival under great skies is a science based fiction which a man named Galena as the lead character. He comes from the Prince's islands and has a quest to add value to his new found home - Voulhire.

The reason Galen travelled to Voulhire was that after his father had given each of his four sons a land to rule for fear that they might try to kill him so as to take over his kingdom, a civil war breaks out and Galen is forced to leave for Voulhire where lies his inheritance.

In the bookWe are Voulhire: Anew arrival under great skies, Matthew Tysz describes Voulhire as a big city which had other sub-cities inside it. Some of these sub-cities were Virko, the holy Land of yamon soul, city of Soulhire and Magnum Caelum which was Galen's destination.

After receiving his inheritance, he starts up a business and hopes to play a big role on the progress of Voulhire as a way of saying thank you to them for their acceptance. His help is soon needed as things fall out of place. Find out how he succeeds in his mission in We are Voulhire: Anew arrival under great skies.

As a reader, science based books were not my thing but I was attracted to this book by it's cover. Though not to attractive, it conveyed a meaningful message to me and I decided to check it out.

I would start by stating what I loved about the book. As I person who was not really into sci-fi, I really get confused whenever I start reading them because they did not relate with my present world and there was no how I could imagine something I didn't know how it looked like or had a taste of. The map that the author included at the beginning of the book really helped me a lot to picture the environment of the setting of the book.

Another thing I loved about the book was the language. The author did a good job in using a language that would be easy for readers like me to understand even though I still found myself checking the dictionary for words like animus, cacophony and vie which I thought were misspelled words. I was delighted when I found their meanings as it expanded my vocabulary.

Lastly, the things I hated in the book were: firstly I could not really understand the plot of the story, initially I reasoned that I could have been as a result of my attitude towards sci-fi but I realized that the author did not organize the plot properly. Also some ideas were just brought into the book needlessly and the author did not give details to why they were being included

Lastly,there was nothing to entice
a reader to continue reading. The suspense was not as high as I had expected it to be but aside that the book was great. The character I loved the most was Rowan, this is because of the huge role he played in the book.

I give this book 3 Stars out of 4 because of its language and uniqueness and I recommend it to lovers of sci-fi.
