The plight of the captured whales is as serious a matter as pollution. I hope the author mentions that too. Thank you for a great review.

I love books with simple words. Showing the dangers of pollution makes it to seem educative. Thanks for the review.

I find myself trying to conceive how kids would relate with such crucial themes like marine pollution, but still think they deserve to be taught young what should grow with them. I feel this book would be emotionally packed with lots of affection between Tahlequah and Notch—see kids falling in love with both story and the rich illustrations.
