There is a close relationship between drugs and crime. Money Faucet it's a crime thriller by Joe Calderwood which Focuses on crime, family, friendship and cartels. He talks about money embezzlement, drug lords and murder through out the book.

In the beginning of the book Joe Calderwood introduces us to Jessie a lawyer who is found dead by Clint in his office. It builds up curiosity to the reader in the entire book on how to solve the murder case. Clint is depicted as a kind hearted and a benevolent elegant man and yet a mastermind in crime. He portrays himself as a good criminal he even builds Tz'ib academy a boarding school inspired by Taavi his deceased lover.

Joe Calderwood he is diverse when it comes to sexuality, he doesn’t get into details about it but Clint involves himself with Xavier who apparently is his ex-lover. Family is a great featured aspect in Money faucet. Clint is forced to fly to Miami after David suffers a minor heart attack and he is hospitalised. Despite the fact that David is not his biological father he ends up including Clint in his will. Later on Pablo, Clint’s right hand man disciplines Abe the eldest son to David and Candice who is in prison, after he refuses to sign off his shares back to his father and threatens to expose Clint's dirty laundry.

A clean up activity is carried out by the DEA, which involves busting drug cartels. During this clean up a lot of casualties happens and for this reason the author portrays the character of caring when Pablo urge's Clint to stay a little longer in Miami. At this point Clint has thoughts of quitting his illegal business and thinks of focusing more on his other endeavours like taking Eddie’s responsibilities.

I would recommend this book to young adults who are in love with crime thriller and mystery. However it contains strong language. I would rate it with a 4 out of 4.

Many times people get involved with illegal activity before they realize it has happened and then don’t know how to extricate themselves. Is this what became of Clint? He seems like a really stand-up guy otherwise.
