Idiom Attack Vol.1 Everyday Living (German Edition) by Peter Liptak

English is usually a somewhat difficult language to learn for a non-speaker. This book’s major audience is German speakers with little knowledge of the English language. It is arranged in a way that one can read German phrases then read the translation of those phrases in English. With English being a widely spoken language it is, therefore, possible that a German speaker will run into an English speaker once in a while. In this situation, a basic knowledge of the language will come in handy. In this book, there are some various phrases and exercises that will enable one to practice English.

This book’s arrangement is in such a way that the German idioms are grouped according to the different situations that a reader can use them. One can be able to move at their own pace where they can improve on their English grammar. At the end of every chapter, various exercises can help one practice what they’ve learned throughout the chapter. There are various crossword puzzles that one can fill out to improve their grasp on what they are learning. Learning English can be hard but it can also be rewarding as it is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world. With the right tools, one can have a solid grasp of the language as well as becoming fluent in it.

This book’s layout is simple and convenient. It helps make the transition from one language to another smooth by demonstrating how various idioms can be used in both English and German. There are some parts of the English language that differ from the German language. This book does a good job explaining how these differences can be applied when transitioning from one language to another. English and Japanese.

Even though not all topics are covered n this book I think the author manages to touch on a lot of topics important to someone looking to get a basic understanding of the English language. Idioms are an important part of any language and when one wants to learn a specific language it is important that they have a substantial amount of knowledge of those idioms.

It is hard to find a good book when one is looking to learn a new language. There are many books on how to learn different languages but in my experience, only a few will be able to help. This is because the approach taken when learning a new language is what can either make or break one’s journey into learning a new language. It is important to have the right tools when learning a new language to make the process as smooth as possible. This book has these important tools and one can hopefully find it easier to learn a new language.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars as the book is well written. I also did not find any grammatical mistakes. It has an easy-to-digest approach to learning a new language and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a way to get a basic understanding of the English language while simultaneously being a German native speaker.
