Review of The Great Awakening

[Following is a volunteer review of "The Great Awakening" by Arthur F Seymour.]
In the Great Awakening, there is a virus that sweeps across the globe and shifts everyone’s life upside down. The virus was called the comavirus. It was a very contagious virus that put millions of people across the globe in a coma. The comavirus brought with it a changing world. Lockdowns had to be imposed and everyone was eager for a vaccine. The virus was intentionally created by an evil being to gain control over the world. The main character, Seymour has special powers and he is able to communicate with special beings such as robots. Seymour and his team thus made it their task to save the world. They were able to do this through a three-step plan which proved to be successful because in the end the evil being was defeated and peace was restored in the world.
What I liked about this book was the explicit detail and explanation of everything. In addition, there were often photos in the book to illustrate the idea that the author was trying to bring across and this was always refreshing. The author, Arthur Seymour, also included links in the book to better understand the codes that he would often refer to. Lastly, the story was well written and flawlessly edited. Furthermore, there was absolutely no room for confusion because the story had a good and logical flow.
However, while the author did a good job at avoiding confusion to the readers, he only informed us in the last chapter about certain things that were often questioned whilst reading. I believe that it would’ve been more fitting to have had the last chapter as the first chapter to facilitate a better understanding overall. In addition, there are many characters in the book as well so it would have been helpful for the author to properly introduce the reader to all of them.
I really would like to give the book 4 out 4 stars. It was nice to read a story that related to the current pandemic and it was an informative book as well. The book also teaches the ordinary reader a few things about science. In addition, the book aims to bring across moral lessons as well. Furthermore, it was a pleasant read with a good storyline and no mistakes
I recommend this book to people who love science and conspiracy theories. I believe that it is also suitable for any age group.
