The book Rise of the Savior by Antoine Bonner was a mixture of science fiction, fantasy, and action. Amanda is an 18-year-old girl who is ready to start her college life. But she hasn't chosen her path. When Amanda and her father met in a car accident, Amanda gets into a realm and activates the Yang side of power with the help of her kundalini. Amanda learned that she is the acolyte of truth and can know when people say truth or lie. Amanda doesn't consider these things seriously until problems affect her family and she loses her loved ones. Jamie, being the acolyte of death, kills people and children to save his son. Amanda and Kidlat got to know Jamie's criminal activities and fight him. Then, Jamie plotted to kidnap Amanda's sister Saira. To protect Saira and other people, she decides to activate her yin side of power. With the help of deities and some others, Amanda plans to defeat Jamie. Will she protect her sister Saira? Will she defeat him or lose herself?

The author's style of writing was very captivating. The story was high fantasy, so it was interesting to imagine the scenes, and it felt like we could experience the events. This book is a female lead story. The author has subtly described action sequences.

Even though the author's way of writing was understandable, I felt some sci-fi terms were hard to understand. When it comes to medical terms, short and straightforward terms could be better for commoners. The book contains the death of children, which some people can find a little disturbing. Furthermore, the book has many death scenes, action, and blood, so sensitive people should consider a second thought on reading this book.

As per the positive and negative points I mentioned above, I rate the book Rise of the Savior by Antoine Bonner 3 out of 4 stars. The story plot was engrossing. There was only a couple of errors that came to my notice. So I can conclude that the book is professionally proofread and well-edited. The book contains only a few non-borderline profanities. It does not contain any sexual content.

I recommend the book Rise of the Savior by Antoine Bonner for mature teens, adults, and older adults. I suggest this book for people who love action sequences. This book would be a good read for people who love to read sci-fi/ fantasy books.
