Sight is a fictitious story based on the life of a young teacher Cicely Denfeld who is haunted by her dreams, these strange dreams are about two characters she has never met in her life. The dreams eventually make her seek out help from a psychologist, Dr. McClellan, who tries to help her figure out the mystery of these life-like dreams.
These dreams take Cicely on a journey filled with twist and turns and some extraterrestrial life, with some Government secrets possibly being revealed.

The author of the book Carlos Varland is an engineer and has dealt with a lot International Space Stations and aircrafts, due to his practical experience in the field he is able to take you as a reader into the world of space ships and technical terms. He uses fascinating, and exciting ways to describe this world vividly, his precise descriptive words give you a feel and presence of everything.

The thing that I did not like about the book is that for quite some time it focuses on Cicely's dreams that you sort of forget about her real life apart from the dreams. When the dream gets to a climax it shifts quickly back to Cicely's real life, and that tends to get a bit boring. Also some of the words the author uses that are hard to read/pronounce are a bit tiring.

I rate this book a 3 out of 4 stars because of the constant shifts between Cicely's life and dreams without notifying the readers. Also the sometimes hard to read words that the author uses in the book.

I would recommend this book to everyone who is into mystery, fiction and
extraterrestrial life, this book will definitely take you on that adventure.
