Michael G. Colburn's "INVENT, INNOVATE & PROSPER" is a wonderful book about invention, innovative invention methods, how to secure an idea and make it profitable. The book has a lot of real life examples of so many inventors, their success principles as well as their mistakes which helps the reader to avoid re-inventing the wheel which is already in place for thousands of years.

The author not only helps the readers with the concept of inventing, he also guides them to physically, mentally and psychologically achieve success with various creative thinking enhancing concepts.

This book is of immense help for anyone who aspires to be a inventor, who has ideas but not knowing how to approach it. Moreover, it also guides in handling the logistics from patents till distribution which I feel is the most important aspect of any achievement. Its an excellent guide for novice inventors as well as for people who wants to know about invention.

The book is a more theoretical and monotonous as the concepts are repetitive in nature. Also, the real life examples are redundant in many chapters. For this reason, I am rating this book 3 out of 4.

Michael G. Colburn's "Invent, Innovate & Prosper" is an excellent book for both inventors and non-inventors to benefit from an idea. Prior to reading this book, I thought that invention is for a classified set of people who are born for it. But this book made me realise that anyone can succeed with an idea and guidance.
