Review of The Touch
The Touch,is a book that will always want you to continue to read. It has unexpected incidents and endings that you don't want to miss out on.
4 children were selected to be the "chosen one." But what did that mean? ,meet Gabriel, Maral, Abdul and Anakim. These 4 all were different in a way; some all lived in different countries, but they all had ONE thing in common. And that's the power of "the voice." This voice within the 4 beings, none of them knew who it was or whether it was human or not. But one thing they do know, is that this voice has a power, a deep masculine fearful voice; that they all feared. Gabriel was an orphan, his parents had abandoned him when he was just a baby. In this orphange that he lives in; he made a friend by the name of Josh. Josh always knew that Gabriel was different than everyone else. But he just needed hard evidence to prove his theory. A nurse that works at a local hospital, her name is Alabama .On one crazy night; after dealing with 2 weird patients, she ends up passing out only to wake up to find out that one of those patients had died. She had felt different though, she now understood things she never did before. What had happened to her? Josh had witnessed a shocking experience, Gabriel's body lit up the room to a bright blue colour. Josh was so sure he saw something enter Gabriel's body but he wasn't sure if he was dreaming. Maral and Abdul both live in Afghanistan, they were currently experiencing a sort of war. Families were dying, children were dying. Maral couldn't take it any longer, she needed to get her family out of there. All her life she had heard this voice; since she was a baby. She found a man who can take her and her family over the border. She had known about Abdul hearing a voice also, she ordered him to stay back and watch over the place. Alabama heard a voice telling her to adopt two boys by the name of Gabriel and Josh. She adopted them, left her job and moved to another state. That's where they had met Anakim. He was working for a famous orginization. Gabriel touched him and passed his power into him. That was what they voice wanted; was for his power to be spread. All 4 powerful now come together in a "dream." They see a powerful man with wings. Was this "the voice?" He soon reveals his name, his is known as many things. But what he is most known for is Lucifer. Everyone needs to call him that now that they know his name. They were still scared of him. They all are now powerful, and almost as almighty as Lucifer. But does he want them to do good or bad to the world?
Robert E. Flynn III has done a wonderful job with making this book. It's very interesting and always wanted me reading more and more. What I like was how the book wasn't straight forward, it had twists and turns. They never just got to the point. The only part I didn't like was how long the book was, but with what the book was about it's understandable and may not be a problem for others.
With how good the book was, I decided to rate this book a 3 out of 4. It wasn't a perfect nor was it a terrible book. It was just right.
I found no errors at all in the book. But I just may have missed them. But it was a really good book.
