Biking is a popular sport among children and adults, male and female, all over the world. People enjoy riding bikes in parks or inside cities, but those who have experienced mountain biking know that it is even more pleasant. It brings people closer to nature by allowing them to enjoy the scenery while riding their bikes. Some people believe that mountain biking is more dangerous than riding a bike in the city or a park, and while this may be true, this book will teach you how to recognize dangers, anticipate them, and take corrective action to avoid accidents, allowing you to enjoy mountain biking despite the risks.

Paul Molenberg's book Let’s Mountain Bike! is divided into five parts and twenty chapters. The first part covers bikes, including their various categories, characteristics, and components, as well as what we should consider while purchasing bikes. The second part goes over how to get ready for a ride, including what accessories we'll need, how to set up our bikes, and different types of rides. The third part discusses riding skills, including riding fundamentals, visualization and balance, movements and techniques while riding, and crashes. The fourth part goes into riding fitness which includes endurance, strength, and flexibility training as well as nutrition and hydration. The fifth and final part covers other biking-related topics such as racing and bike washing.

I must admit that the book's introduction was engaging, talking about the feelings one gets while riding a bike in the mountains, and the accompanying stunning photos of nature, featuring mountains, trees, grasses, and sun rays. All of which made me want to hop on my bike and ride there. Another feature of this book that I liked was how thorough it is. As you read it, you'll note that the author goes into great detail regarding biking and bikes; in fact, the author even goes into length about the two types of tire valves, which is incredible.

On the other hand, if you ask me about the book's drawbacks, I can't think of any. As I already stated, this book is comprehensive. It's also easy enough for both experienced and inexperienced riders to understand. In addition, I found no grammatical, spelling, or typographical issues, indicating that it was professionally edited, in my opinion. As a result, I give this book a 4 out of 4 stars rating.

Let’s Mountain Bike! is a book that is well worth reading; the author summarizes his almost two decades of mountain biking expertise in this book. This book will provide you with all the information, tips, and advice you need, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced rider. You'll learn everything there is to know about biking and bikes, both technical and non-technical aspects included. You'll even learn what to do if you come into predator animals or poisonous plants. As a result, I recommend this book to new and experienced bikers alike, as well as anyone interested in getting into biking.
