[Following is a volunteer review of "Selling with Presence" by Reggie Pearse.]
Selling with Presence is a book that educates people on what it takes to have a great sales presence. It also show salespeople where they have fallen short in their careers and guide them on how to be more productive and efficient. It advises them to focus on using their professional knowledge and expertise, as well as having enough curiosity, being a good listener, and not talking too much to establish relationships and persuade clients to buy their products. This book provides a guide to increasing sales and ensuring that customers have a positive and satisfying experience with salespeople.
Reggie Pearse decided to become a salesperson when he was seventeen years old. At the age of eighteen, he lost his father to heart attack and became the CEO of his company. He couldn't run the business like his father. The company was on the verge of bankruptcy, but with the support of the experienced people in his circle, it was able to recover and reach its pinnacle. When he was twenty-eight years old, he sold the company to try something new and pursue his passion for sales management. He learned a lot from it, which he shared in this book.
The author, Reggie Pearse, has published a useful article. The book had a great deal of editing work done on it. The cover page's design is quite simple, and I like it. The book is well-organized and laid out nicely. Each chapter begins with a brief outline of the entire chapter. To make it easier to grasp, certain chapters have a table that summarises the main points of the chapter. The author did an excellent job of including some self-evaluation questions as well.
Customers may be unsure of what they desire at times; therefore, sales professionals who are well-versed in their field is required to make the purchasing process smoother and more fun. By utilizing their persuasive power, credibility, relational abilities, and being the best they can be, they can significantly improve sales. That's why I enjoy this book, which Reggie Pearse wrote specifically for salespeople and professionals because it will help them relate to customers better.
There isn't a single element about this book that I dislike. It acts as a guide for salespeople to provide a positive sales experience, which is something that every buyer, including me, is seeking for.
This book has gained my recommendation. I give this book a 4 out of 4 stars because it is a well-written, educational book.
I recommend this book to salesmen and saleswomen, salesboys and salesgirls whether they are amateur or professional so that they can understand the tactics on increasing sales and apply this principle in their sales career.
