Chameleons by Onyx Gold

A story of mystery, non-fiction, erotica, suspense and science-history. This book keeps you on your toes when reading it.

The story takes you on a journey from California, South Carolina, New York, and the Island of Honduras. This story is a love triangle gone wrong. Our main character starts off meeting her first love interest in the elevator. She is a literary agent for Sparks Literary Agency. He's a lawyer with B&F Law Firm located in the same building. She meets her second love interest who is the author she is representing through texting and emails.

She has no interest in relationships due to past failures. With the help of her best friend Jazz she just might see something she might want. When he first saw Zia, Bryce could see having a future with her. When she makes the mistake of crossing that line with Baxter, their is not going back. She feels the excitement and lust that Baxter brings; but enjoys the love and safety that Bryce gives her.

This book heats up with some steamy love scenes that makes Zia question what type of woman she really is. As the relationships heat up with between both men, she can see how this is changing her life. In the middle of all this someone is copying the books that are being written by the author. She sees the similarities. Are these murders a coincidence? Maybe someone is reading the books and becoming a copy cat.

Watch how Zia with the help of Jazz try to find out what is really going on. See how the murderer's obsession with her and her heritage takes her on a wild ride. Bryce family history with his parents does not help the relationship between the couple. As more guilt sets in, How will she get herself out of this entanglement and focus on her true relationship? What happens when the clues start getting clearer and she does not know how to get herself out.

Why is he obsessed with her ancestral history? What does she have that all those woman did not have? Could she accept that someone she loves could hurt her and the people around her? Now she is on a mission for solve the question that is plaguing her. Is he a killer and what am I going to do about it? Would I deserve love after all this is said and done?

I give this book a 3 out of 4 good read. I would recommend this book. It has some factors that you don't see in most books. The author would need to bridge the gap in the timeline when she is transitioning from each part. Its still worth the read.
