How To Be Successful- Think Like a Leader review by Lamla Bam

This book was a massive clickbait- I went in expecting the usual ‘snake oil’ reading material from another financial guru but was stopped in my tracks by an entertaining and educational book on how to get off my butt and start carving out my dreams, make friends and gracefully handle accomplishment once it comes. This was topped with ‘desserts’ of curiosity-satisfying interviews with the people M. Curtis McCoy looks up to. I found that these conversations provided a short break after digesting wisdom from the writer. They were a breath of fresh air.

The simplest books can be read by the most uncomplicated of readers and therefore change the lives of the ordinary. It may not look that way now, but I think this book will sit with the likes of the alchemist and how to win friends and influence people. I say this because of its upbeat nature, realistic vibe while harbouring engaging conversations which honestly feel like having a talk with your successful and witty rich uncle.

I loved everything about the book and as a person who gets my mojo back by reprogramming my self with a good self-help book every two months, to debug myself of toxicity and lethargy, this was my boost. It ended abruptly so I was a bit saddened and felt it could have been longer.

I rate How to Be Successful- Think like a Leader 4 out of 4 stars because it was a good companion for a few hours and bestowed me with jewels of advice I will be using for the rest of my life. I did not find any errors, so it was quite well edited.
I would recommend this book to everybody who wants to make something out of their life and achieve financial freedom especially Christian entrepreneurs!
