The Successful Manager written by James Potter and Mike Kavanagh a very good book which explains many challenges a new manager usually get. The back provide practical means to easily handle such a position instead of the usual challenges of trying to discover things alone and leads to lack of growth to an organization.

The Successful Manager is one book that easily explains the duty of the manager, written in a style is undstood by anyone. working as a manager is different now the results of the manager usually depends on the combined effort of team and no longer a member effort. Basically a very nice opinion from the book is the approach of outstanding managers also reflect on the organization production. A manager that only uses authority to make decisions is a leader and no one has their trust. James Potter and Mike Kavanagh point in the manager should be able to acknowledge team for the effort and how characcteristics of the outstanding leader should be.

After reading the e-book I have not yet found any thing wrong in the book, that is to say this The Successful Manager is the best e-book on the area of management skills. Having found some valuable information on management, this is a book for every leader to read.

I rate The Successful Manager 3 out of 4 based on the practical approach the authors James Potter and Mike Kavanagh used driving home the points and if the ideas in the book is properly applied as a manager the results of the organization effort could take to another height in business. This is a good book I will always have at my personal library and any time there's this book in bookstore I won't hesitate in buying the paperwork.

This is the ideal book that I do like recommend to any Manager who is wanting to to increase performance or new manager who just resume position, or people who have been trying to get a manager position. With the information given in the book is a easy and good experience for leaders handling the position of a manager, whereby winning the trust the the team members. So I recommend The Successful Manager as a best material for leaders to avoid anxiety and getting to great height.
