After the death of her beloved husband, Kathleen Ho loses all reasons to live, as she wails in agony over the loss of the love of her life. The book, Living Forward after Loss, which is made up of eight chapters, is a book made to guide those in grief, to enable them to move on with their lives.

David Bigby died as a result of a stroke, in August 2015. Ever since then, Kathleen's life never remained the same. She remained like that till after a year and six months. Kathleen got back on her feet, and continued living. She did not only want to exist, but to live life. Life was just too short to be bitter and miserable. Though, it wasn't easy getting over ten fruitful years of marriage. She triumphed in the end. Living Forward after Loss, is an inspirational book, which seeks in pointing out all the good things we have in life, even after a loss.

I love the tone the writer used while writing the book. She used a very calm and soothing tone, enough to make anyone's heart bleed. Even if one haven't experienced such an experience before, one can easily imagine it. But that wouldn't compare to what the author had to go through. She also draws in her personal life experience, and that of others around her, to educate her readers. Not all books talk about this very subject like she did. The writer seeks in giving hope to those grieving, at their lowest point in life. There is a quote at the beginning of each chapter, which corresponds with the title of the chapter itself. She also summarizes each chapter at the end before moving over to the next one. This book is a very interesting read.

Living Forward after Loss, contains a few typos, but that doesn't interrupt the reading process as their flaws are just minor. But because of the errors I found in it, I will be giving this book a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. It contains no sexual content, vulgar words or irritating scenes.

I highly recommend this book to those mourning a loved one, and those who haven't fully moved on since their departure. This book will guide them on how to move on, but still keeping their memories fresh in their mind, like it should be, especially if this person holds a dear spot in their heart. I hope this book serves as a source of enlightenment, even through those trying times. I challenge you to live a life free from sorrow, as you embark on this journey.
