Review of Absolute Truth
A book unlike any other self-growth novel-Absolute Truth, written by Joab Russo who dives into how beliefs dictate our lives. Joab Russo spent over two decades developing this wonderful book. Books are meant to make us think, and this book creates a pyramid to build on previously mentioned concepts to bring it full circle. Breaking down different mass beliefs and dives into each of them. This novel takes you through multiple perspectives on different paradigms of the human experience.
This novel by Joab was the kind of book I read in bite-sized pieces. I am a bookworm at heart, so taking my time with such a thought-provoking book was difficult. I wanted to read it cover to cover, but even the book encourages the reader to take their time and is written in such a way to force-deflection to extricate yourself from beliefs that have evolved into obstacles. I highly recommend this book to others, especially now while we overcome a pandemic.
The only negative I can mention is that I couldn’t process some of the changes of perspectives faster. It forces the reader to think, backpedal, and acknowledge how their thoughts hold them back. That is not easy, and not everyone is ready to consider the full process. Overall a positive, because it helped me acknowledge previous false beliefs holding me back from reaching the next step towards reaching my higher state of inner peace.
I would rate this novel as a 4 out of 4 stars because the writing is impeccable. Tried to find an error but understanding the message, the sentences were intellectual and profound. I encourage everyone to sit down and read a chapter of this a day to appreciate how to control your thoughts and beliefs to truly change your life. I enjoyed how he breaks the book down so the concepts build on each other and provide in-depth details for full absorption.
This book is meant for the dreamers, striving entrepreneurs, and those who want to find more grounding with their spiritual health. It is meant to take you on a vacation from false beliefs and negative self-talk and rediscover your inner power and strength. After the vacation, your beliefs will seem like you moved into a more stable and accepting home. It is beneficial for people who doubt their intuition and need to reconnect with how strong of a person they truly are, not meant for everyone as he does use jargon that is heavy for the average reader. It is worth the read; for adults who were manipulated and controlled, adults overcoming trauma, and those people struggling with their intuition and want to improve by focusing on how they think and give new meaning to their existence.
