Review- The God Child - Stuart Rawlings

Rating: 3 out of 4

If you are looking for a book related to contemporary times, this book will suit your choice. The entire novel is a political satire that uses strong images criticizing everything linked to politics. Religion, caste, customs, and traditions are a few. Stuart Rawlings thinks about the impossible and helps the readers to imagine. He plays with "ifs" and keeps taking the readers to a world where every problem receives a solution. Honestly, most of his revelations are brutal truths that we never desire to accept.
He gathers people in power and questions their decisions. He satirizes, criticizes, and even feels guilty for the events of history that keep ruining the present. While reading the novel, I was able to gain information about certain truths that always remain hidden. I found the book to be moving fast-paced. Yet, I never got exhausted. The author made me imagine the impossible.
I also felt that the author has a particular inclination towards some communities. He uses strong language to criticize those who resent. I believe in political satires that understand emotions from every aspect. The novel uses hilarious terms and fictional instances to explain situations. I found this to be an inspiring technique.
Hence, I would choose this book than non-fiction to understand political and religious blunders.
