Last Words from Above is like a book of proverbs updated. It is filled with 2001 encouraging words of wisdom. From reading through it, Jeremy Brown is more focused on finding who you are as a person in regarding who God is first that we may reach our destiny in life. The focus of the book is quite centered on what God is saying now than what God has said in the past. It is also focused on recruiting listeners of God’s voice, and a Nazarite kind of a generation, a generation that is in isolation from God. The flow of the book opens with self-identity and concludes with dreams that a person has.

The book has a positive spiritual impact and has the ability to redirect a person’s focus to its full ability and intention. When you begin reading, you might be a bit not interested, but I believe, as the author denotes in his introduction that if you sift through the whole book, you will find what is relevant to you now.

There are no negative aspects that I have noticed on these quotes, but I have personally found them life-changing and boosting a person’s self-esteem. I personally agree with the author that if you read through these quotes, you will find yours because I have found mine too. In quote 1051 I found my inspiration because I have made so many mistakes in life, but I have managed to use those mistakes as my stepping stone to the next level of my life. We make mistakes in life to teach you, not to guide you though, as the author mentions in quote 33.

If you read, you will see the quotes somehow complement each other, like my favourite quote in 1051, it complements with quote 71. I really think that these are life-changing and challenging for a person to go on a trip to listen and find. I would definitely rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because it has no errors, and it is quite an interesting read. It is also balanced on all kinds of people and not solely focused on the religious or those inside the church.

I would recommend the book because of its excellence to all types of people. It is perfect for those who want to hear from God directly and also find their purpose in life.
