[Following is a volunteer review of "Replaced Parts" by Stephanie Hansen.]
Replaced Parts is a scientific adventure story of a young girl named Sierra. It is written by Stephanie Hansen, an award-winning author with a deep passion for writing since her childhood. This book was one of the books written with her strong zeal, and I enjoyed it very much.
Sierra lost her father through a mysterious disappearance. It left her and her mother wondering if her father intentionally left them for another woman or if he was taken against his will. Sierra discovered her father’s location and embarked on a journey with her friend to a planet called Vortex to find and rescue her father. Vortex was a different adventure for Sierra because she was exposed to the corrupt and illegal science practices of Cronwell. Sierra must rescue her father and get justice for him and the other people Cronwell experimented on. Sierra’s mission to find and Rescue her Father became more cumbersome because she felt trapped in the web of a mentally deranged scientist. She had to make sacrifices to save her father, her lover, and her friends on Vortex.
The author’s writing style is extremely descriptive, thrilling, and full of suspense. There are a lot of scientific discoveries and experiments to explore. The earlier parts of this book were intriguing and full of adventures. The latter parts were full of thrilling action, thereby making the Reader patiently anticipate what would come next, and it continued like this till the end of the book. My favorite parts of this book are the scientific Adventures and Romance. I laughed when Sierra emphasized not getting over the smell of Vortex because it smelled like watermelon, so as she crawled into Vortex, it made her appetite increase. I also felt very emotional when I read the part where Sierra finally reunited with her father.
There is absolutely nothing I hate about this book. I enjoyed reading this book as I felt involved in the adventure and the experiment while reading this book. The suspense, thriller, action, and romance in this book held my interest and kept me eager to finally reach the climax of the book. The only challenge I had while reading this book was the constant use of ambiguous scientific words by the author because I had to pause and use a dictionary to understand this book better. A good example is the word electroencephalogram. However, I don’t believe this was enough to remove a star, so I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
I believe this book received exceptional editing because it seems like the author put it together with so much care, and I found no errors. I recommend this book to adults over the age of 18 who love romance and adventure stories and won’t mind some science mixed in. People who enjoy suspense, thriller, or stories about robots will also enjoy reading this book.
