Children are curious beings, and reading is one of the things that can widen their world and make them happy. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a fast-paced children’s book. It is about a diary of a snoopy cat, Inca. Inca has a famous detective agency that has solved mysteries. Inca is not alone in this endeavor. He has siblings and friends that help him in his detective work. Cara and Fromage are Inca’s siblings, and as a whole company, they have a caretaker known as Mum. Terrance is a detective dog by profession, and Solo owns him. Solo and Mum are humanoid friends and therefore making it easy to bring the whole detective company together. In this story, Inca is excited that they are going to South Korea. Mum is among the people selected to be the judge of the French patisserie.

The character's personalities in this book are well built and easy to remember. Fromage enjoys and loves cheese. He knows all kinds of french cheese. I like how each chapter has pictures that help with the flow of the story. Most children enjoy reading books that have pictures, and I think it makes it easy to enjoy the story and understand it. I also learned about the DMZ ( Demilitarized zone). DMZ is a barrier zone between North Korea and South Korea.

There is nothing I disliked about this book. I enjoyed reading it. R.F. Kristi has done an incredible job. The flow of the story is simple and easy to follow.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a children’s book that I would highly recommend to all individuals with children. The editing in this book is exceptional, and I would not have expected less since this is supposed to teach and introduce kids to new words.

I award this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars because the story is engaging and informative.
