Money Faucet by Joe Calder is a crime novel. It centres its storyline around a character called Clint. Clint is a criminal. He has a good heart and always care about the less fortunate in his society. The book is a memoir of Clint. It is narrated in the first person present tense.

The book has been written in a chronological pattern. Clint gets involved in a drug trade in Mexico. The business is booming and Clint makes the most out of it .When he is at the prime of making profit, problems starts following him and anytime this happens his adrenaline shoots high. Police officers successfully raids his partners and others die strangely. At the same time his family in States calls him. The situation keeps on getting worse on the ground. Clint starts getting afraid. He has not yet moved back to Mexico as the death of his friend has made him to overstay at home. Clint gets to a point he is considering to leave the business. Before making that decision , something happens to him that leaves him with two choices. Leaving the business becomes more difficult. He has to choose carefully between leaving the business or getting into it more deeply.

The book has a well plot setting and the storyline is easier to follow. The book starts at a faster pace , the storyline is interesting and engaging too. It captures the attention of the reader at the moment it begins. The book brings out imaginative ideas in the mind of a reader. You read how Clint is a criminal and at the same time you feel that he is a big hearted person. What makes him be so is his morals and his way of thinking. What I loved the most about this book was its character development. The author was able to make the roles of each character independent and unique.

The flow of the storyline gets confusing in the middle as at some points the book does not mention who was the character acting in a certain scene. This made me felt that the author did not maintain the objective of the plot setting though after some times I was able to get back to the track. This was the only part I did like about the book.

The book was well written and professionally edited therefore it did not have mistakes that could have affected the flow of the storyline. I therefore give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.[b/]

I recommend the book to readers who enjoys reading crime novels.
