Review of The Solution is Political Revolution

[Following is a volunteer review of "The Solution is Political Revolution" by Jillion R Rising.]
Do we unite as one people and demand there be change? Or do we sit idly by and be led to the slaughter as lambs? This informational and inspiring book, The Solution is Political Revolution, is filled with history, statistics and current events that make the reader think long and hard about the state of our country. The politicians have set up programs that have a surplus and then they turn around and use that surplus. The author raises the point that if we purchase a product or receive a service and are dissatisfied with it, we can complain or write a review. So how do we get results from the very people, our government leaders, who work for us? In his book, The Solution is Political Revolution, Jillion R. Rising gives examples of how entitlement programs, bailouts, and lack of innovation, just to name a few, have put America in terrible peril. He also suggests a new political party. His main theme throughout the book is that we must come together as one people in order to leave the next generation a bright future.
I found this book to be very enlightening. The author, Jillion R. Rising, goes in depth on how America's financial and political arenas are closely tied. As he shares the history of how we went from the gold standard to the fiat money system, there are charts and graphs which I found to be helpful. He explains how different government programs have hurt our country economically. One particular fact that just amazed me, is that we have 10,000 baby boomers retiring every day. Where will all the Social Security payouts come from? He explains how the surplus in this program has been squandered and how it will collapse in the near future.
Although I found the historical facts interesting, I did find them to be overwhelming at times. It seemed like there were facts that were repeated continually. But I guess history does repeat.
Due to the state of turmoil that our country is currently in, I find this book to be very relevant. With that thought in mind, I rate this book a four out of four stars. There were only a few errors which shows that this book was carefully edited. That fact also contributed to my score.
The reading audience for this book would be those mature readers interested in what we can do to change the trajectory of our country. People interested in an entertaining, light read would probably not find this informational book to be enjoyable. Those seeking the history behind our country and the political force that guides us, would find this book interesting.
