Love, Grandma is a short children’s book written by Ann Morris. It tells the story of the author and her two adorable granddaughters, Payton and Haley.

In the beginning, Ann is delighted by the birth of Payton, and soon Hayley is also born. The three of them always had a great time together. Ann did a lot of fun activities with them, such as giving them pony rides, painting nails, baking cookies, playing kitchen, painting the sidewalk, and making tent houses. This book beautifully brings out how whole-heartedly a grandmother loves her grandchildren.

I appreciate that the author gave the text a rhythmic touch, which will make it easy for children to comprehend the text. The story is pretty simple and straightforward. Many creative ways have been mentioned in this book for parents and grandparents to spend time with their kids. I particularly liked the moment where the author and her granddaughters are playing with buttons.

The most appealing aspect for me was the vivid, lively, and colorful illustrations done by David Gnass, as they perfectly depicted what the author was trying to convey in the text. This book will encourage kids to bond with their family, as I feel that nowadays children are not spending quality time with their grandparents. This book will instill feelings of love and warmth in the readers. The title and cover are appropriate for the story. I am sure the kids will enjoy this book.

There is nothing I disliked about the book. It is exceptionally edited, as I did not find any errors. I am happy to rate this book four out of four stars. Finally, I would recommend this lovely book to children of age 4 to 10 years. Also, parents or grandparents can read this book to their children of age 2 to 3 years. Grandparents can find this book interesting because they will get to recollect happy moments spent with their grandchildren.

The future looks crazy if we don't take care of our environment. If we don't protect mother earth we are heading for distraction. Also this book looks like it's filled with lots of drama. And a good plot twist. I mean assassinate the president during a crisis.....

I am glad that this author has included illustrations that depict what is happening in the text of the story. This is thoughtful because children are more attracted by the depictions. Thanks for your good review.

For children's books, colourful illustrations are key because children are visual creatures and thus helps to maintain their attention. I also note that this author tells a good story. Thanks for this well written review.
