Imagine what it would feel like when your worst teacher shows up at your doorstep on a rainy day trying to kill your brother and your friend. Demon Freaks by J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison is the type of book that offers you such a thriller. This is a fast-paced action thriller with lots of suspense.

Bing couldn't help looking at Mr. Brom's hair colour; he had always wondered if it was natural or artificial. Mr. Brom was their history teacher, and everyone disliked him because he was a bully. Bing, together with his twin Ron, had formed a song about Mr. Brom. Everyone liked the song, except for Brom, who reported them to the school authority. However, a night before their S.A.T exam, something that changed their lives happened. The twins had planned on studying with their band crew for the exam when they experienced a blackout. Suddenly, they saw someone running to their house. At first, they thought it was Kaitlyn, but they were surprised when they saw their teacher. Ron quickly helped inside the house, but things took a quick turn when Brom tried to kill them with a dagger. The boys were quick to react to the situation. They tied Brom down, but he kept on talking about death and the effect of holding that dagger they took away from him. What prompted Brom's action? What are the boys up against? Grab a copy of this book to find out.

This masterpiece kept me indoors throughout the day. I couldn't stop reading this book because of the suspense it contained. Ron and Bing were easily my best characters. The intelligence shown by the twins fascinated me. I was also amazed at the power the dagger possessed. I found Meat quite hilarious. At first, I thought Brom had mentally lost it, but as I read on, I got to know why he did what he did. The author made me very curious while reading this novel. I couldn't wait to see what would later become of the twins. The storyline was very intriguing and captivating.

There was nothing to hate about this book. The storyline was good. The scenes were well-developed and well-described. I felt as though I was inside the book while I read. The characters in this book were well-developed too. This novel would make a good movie. I felt bad for meat when he lost his willpower to that dagger. I also liked Kaitlyn; she was intelligent and had a good sense of humour.

I'm rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found no errors in this book. This shows that it was exceptionally well-edited. I would love to read other books by this author. I recommend this book to people who love stories associated with science fiction.

I don't think I would enjoy reading books that talk about demons considering how fearful I'm. Thanks for this review
