Duplicity By Fin C. Gray is a fast-paced thriller from beginning to the end. It tackles terrorism, family, mental illness and how it can be used against someone with the prerequisite condition. The story focused on Tom and his friends and how his life choices, will change not just his but the lives of his loved ones forever. He leaves behind a devastation that cannot be undone or ignored.

The thing I liked most about the book is the keen attention to details the author focuses on. The interactions of his characters make them relatable and sometimes understandable. The accuracy employed serves to make a clear distinction between the protagonists and antagonists of the story. It also proves the importance of self--confidence, and belief in one self. He emphasizes that this qualities are what is important in life, as proven by how his main character is defined.

There is nothing to dislike about the book as the author does an exceptional job to portray and drive home the key points of his story. The violence and the consequences of the aftermath show the effects of choice very perfectly. This method he employs serves to make the story more memorable and enjoyable to read.

The book is professionally edited and is not suitable for people of a certain religion. It majorly focuses on terrorism and Islam. He carefully states that how some people choose to find the wrong meaning in the Quran and exploit it to perpetrate violence and hurt people to gratify themselves and hide behind God. He also shows the effect of parenting whether good or bad and the outcome. The father's poor parenting skills and pride leads his son down the rabbit hole which leaves long lasting consequences on his family and many more scores that were affected by his gruesome actions.

Due to some various violent scenes in the book, I recommend it to a mature audience, but also those who love crime stories. The book paints a vivid story in one's mind and stimulates the imagination, leaving one to ponder their actions and intended consequences on their loved ones or unsuspecting strangers. The book was a fusion of both intrigue and suspense keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. All the above factors lead me to give the book a rating of four out of four stars.
