When I read Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi, I really enjoyed it. I did not hesitate to check out this particular one when I saw it.

Inca, Cara, Fromage, Charlotte, Monk, Polo, and Terrance formed a detective agency. They named it Inca and Detective agency. Inca is the head. They had just returned from Sri Lanka, where their mother had taken them for a vacation. They had barely relished their adventure when their mom was selected as a judge for a cooking and baking competition in South Korea. That sounded exciting to them because they particularly love traveling and exploring. When they got to South Korea, they needed a translator and a guide. Ye-Jun volunteered to be their translator and tour guide. He took them to his house. At his place, they met a Jindo dog, Baram. Baram has been lonely because Ye-Jun's sister, Ji, took his friend away. Ye-Jun also missed his sister. Inca and her agents realized they could make Ye-Jun and Baram happy again by reuniting them together. They had to carry out a deadly operation to do that. How did they carry it out? Did they succeed?

R.F. Kristi's Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book that children will enjoy reading. It was simply written in the first-person narrative. I think the author aims to teach the culture of appreciating and loving animals right from childhood. Children who love animals always grow up to be lovely, affectionate adults.

Another thing I love about this book is the author's attempt to educate her readers on the culture of the Koreans, both in the South and the North. This will be educational for children as it will expose them to different cultures and history from a young age. Even adults would appreciate this. Also, the illustrations are top-notch and colorful, and I think children would love this.

The book is interesting and fun to read. There was nothing I disliked about the book. It was exceptionally well edited because I found no errors. There were no profanities. Therefore, I will give Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I would recommend this book to children who love animal stories.
