It is true that life does not follow a straight path. The difficulties that people endure throughout their lives support this assertion. We must always learn to live with and be inspired by adversity. For example, Celia Belt's book Remarkably Intact is an incredible book about her life and the obstacles she encountered as a burn survivor.

Celia gives an account of how she managed to cope with life after she survived death when she was only 21 months old—when she was burned with hot water on her face. She also narrates how she was forced to live in isolation at school and beyond school because of her physical condition. As if that was not enough, she goes on and narrates how life was unbearable growing up in an abusive home. To read more about this inspiring story and the author, kindly purchase your own copy.

This was a fascinating and motivating book that evoked a variety of feelings in the reader. That is, you will laugh, cry, and even ponder life's many mysteries. The novel has a lot of likeable elements. Its motivating nature, for example, was one of my favorites. Additionally, each chapter of the book starts with a short poem, which adds to the intrigue of the story.

The language used in the book is simple and easy to understand. This made it easy to grasp the content in the book easily. However, the only aspect of the book that I didn't like was how many spacing errors were in it. This means that the book needs further editing. The book is also short and brief, making it possible to read in one sitting.

Celia Belt is a likeable character. Despite her being physically challenged and growing up in an abusive home, she did not give up on her life. She chose not to use her condition as an excuse for not succeeding in her life. While reading the book, I learned a lot about her life. It is indeed an inspiring story.

This was an enjoyable book. I'm rating it 2 out of 4 stars. I could have given it a higher rating if not for the spacing errors in it. The book's cover was well-designed and appealing. I would recommend this fantastic book to those who like reading biographical books. They'll be inspired by the author's story. Those who love non-fiction narratives will also like the book.
