The Devil pulls the strings by J.W.Zarek is a fantasy novel that describes the unexpected adventure of Boone Daniels and the twisted yet interesting happenings in New York City. Boone Daniels is a young talented musician bent on fulfilling his promise to his best friend Flynn Michaels by playing at a concert with the village idiots in the city that never sleeps, when he arrives in New York City he makes friends with the beautiful and exceptional violinist Sapphire Anjou and Detective Rizos, together they uncover mysteries surrounding the death of a dear professor and what Paganini's music can do. Boone's journey reveals his fear for dark corners which unveils a wendigo that has haunted him all his life, he must stop the evil Baba Yaga from awakening and Sinti who will stop at nothing to summon the devil to achieve his goal.

The Devil pulls the strings by author J.W.Zarek was remarkably exceptional and splendid. I'm amazed at how the author's writing and imagination made this fantasy novel feel so real and intriguing. I particularly loved his input of myths and tales of the old to transform his story into a wonderful fantasy novel, which is unique and intellectually amazing.

I enjoyed and loved everything about this book, I enjoyed reading it and I give credit to its author for the book was professionally edited and I would love to read it over again.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. it is an interesting book and I enjoyed every bit of the mystery and heart-racing experience. It met up with my expectations of the fantasy world.

I recommend this book to people who are lovers of fantasy books and love nice endings, it is also recommended to people with wild and broad imaginations and people who love to go wild with their imaginations. The devil pulls the strings opens the mind to different imaginations.
