Willie Mae Hart moves out of Mississippi, for the purpose of not wanting to raise a son in Mississippi, due to the violent injustice against black African-Americans. She moves to Oregon to unite with her childhood friend- Laura, again. She gets to Oregon and discovers her friend no longer stays there,she communicates with her and saves up some money to meet her friend and they both end up settling in Portland. Once settled due to her selfless and unwavering love for family and people, she moves her whole family over to Portland. Unselfish and loving with a good heart, she begins to support blacks to fight against racism and violence shown to black African-Americans.

This book has references to better understand the biography of Willie Mae Hart- Sister B. The story is straight to the point and the choice of words of the writer is excellent. It has a little bit of mystery, I also like that it gives some kind of curiosity, to want to know what happened next.

All the pictures were in negative, thereby not revealing the things and faces in the picture clearly. I was curious to see Willie Mae Hart and her friend Laura faces but I couldn't view it in the book, and had to use the internet. The subheading with numberings 1-275 with inscriptions under were quite unclear at first and and it took me reading to the end of the book to understand that, each subheading was like, the view of a person. There wasn't any particular information on this and it just left me wondering what it's use is.

David Charles Hart attention to details is amazing. Without too many words he put everything in his book in the descriptive. He did an amazing work on this book putting into writing the biography of a woman of unselfish and unwavering love- Willie Mae Hart who stood for equality for all people of all races. I look forward to reading more books from you especially about Sister B's further works.

Sister B is an autobiography of a woman who supported black African-Americans in their fight for justice and equality . I rate this book 3 out of 4 . I would have given it a 4 out of 4 but I still find somethings confusing, like the numbering subheadings and the numbers in between the story. The unclear pictures wasn't so encouraging too.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves autobiography. It has a few profanities at the beginning so it isn't suitable for children.
