Review of Apotheosis Now
Apotheosis Now by Yanhao Huang is a nonfiction self-help book which is quite different from some other nonfiction self-help books that handle self-reliance and improvement of one's intellect to be oneself. You will find out what it is all about once you entirely carefully read it.
Happiness, truth, awareness, and enlightenment are the main key points which Yanhao emphasizes on. He clarifies that happiness can simply be found alone, it is not brought by someone or something else, rather than oneself who is solo. He expresses that the truth is still a mystery to humankind whilst the ego is the only thing which poisons mind in illusory of truth whenever believing of being great, getting out of troubles, and reach to success we all wish for. And these are the misapprehensions of the ego which results in deception on account of compiling the truth we quested for many centuries and still seeking for at this moment.
This book is written in a simple writing and language form, it has merely eight chapters that induce a reader to concisely read it and have an effective comprehension, when open-minded. And I relish the way Yanhao neither relies on religious beliefs nor does he rely on scientific facts to explain the existence of the world, life after death, and so on which is pretty useful especially to somebody who reads a self-help book like this for the first time.
One of the things I also enjoyed in this book is how the author prefers action to words, this may be seen in the quote that says, "when one wants a flower, they don't even think flower, they think of the soil, the manure, the water, and the sunlight-which doesn't resemble a flower at all-but if they take care of those things, then a flower will happen one day. "
In conclusion, I didn't encounter anything negative to dislike about the book as I contended to witness just a single error in the whole book. The author has made a nice work in this book that I appreciated his perspective and the inclusion of other quotes from various authors to depict his content well. I consequently rate this book 4 out of 4 stars due to the constructive nature of the book and the lack of grammar errors. I recommend the psychology learners to read this book, people who want to spiritually elevated in truth and happiness, and those who bask self-help nonfiction books to attentively associate themselves to this one as I did.
