Review of Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks
Living longer is everyone's desire. To live longer, one must be healthy. We live in a world where making money is a must to some people; they'll do anything to get that money from others even though it means scamming them.
The Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks is a self-help book that acts as a guide giving practical advice on how to live a healthy lifestyle. The book's author is Dr. Morton E Tavel, MD a retired physician who specialized in internal medicine and cardiology.
Writers often use credible sources for all of their writings or content. Doing so helps the readers to know that what has been said about a certain matter is true. It wouldn't make sense to write about something or someone with nothing to back up your statements or conclusions. Listing sources the author used to get information shows that the author has done proper research in addition to being a responsible scholar by giving credit to other researchers and acknowledging their ideas.
How great it feels when we read well-formatted content. The book has sections and headings which help readers go through the book easily hence saving time.
Who knew that sleep deprivation could cause or bring about serious health issues? The author knew and decided to let all of us know of the outcomes of depriving ourselves of sleep. I go to sleep late at night and never knew that depriving myself of sleep could Increase my risk of getting serious health problems like stroke, diabetes, heart disease as well as Alzheimer’s disease. Thanks to all the helpful information in this book, I know all there is to know to be healthy, when and how I can be scammed, and how to protect myself from the world's scammers launching fake health products.
One thing I loved about the author is that he is selfless. When one finds a precious gem, he or she keeps it to him or herself. The author through digging deeper found this helpful information, and what he did was to spend most of his time writing down all he had learned throughout the years. This helpful information he has shared with us so that we too can live a healthy lifestyle and avoid unnecessary purchases. Just like the saying goes, sharing is caring. Thanks to this great book, we can expect to live Longer; only if we apply all there is to apply in our daily lives.
Based on what I have come to know, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It is indeed a great book that I will always refer to before doing anything. I recommend this book to those who work late at night, those who are concerned about their health, those who were scammed before, and lastly, to those who aren't scammed yet.
