Review of Apotheosis Now
[Following is a volunteer review of "Apotheosis Now" by Yanhao Huang.]
Apotheosis Now by Yanhao Huang supports the idea that we do not control our actions or decide which path we take, but that our destiny is foretold.
This book also addresses how we brainwash ourselves into believing that we are something we are not, also how we twist and turn the reality of matters to make ourselves feel better and to justify our behaviour and actions. This book forces oneself to look in the eye, the harsh nature of the truth of ourselves as human beings.
It also addresses reality head on. Nothing is sugar coated. It takes you out of your comfort zone and opens your mind to many aspects. As humans we have either been brainwashed by someone else or have brainwashed ourselves into believing that things are a certain way but very rarely do we question it and take in every perspective which leads to us being narrow minded and redundant to having or considering a new perception of the matters of life and the self. This book thoroughly dissects many topics pertaining to ourselves in our everyday lives and also our inner selves. It broadens and even changes our perspectives entirely. This book also brings about a lot of realization that we are programmed to behave or think the way society wants us to, that we need to achieve certain things or do things a certain way so that we can be considered worthy or good enough and we allow that to make or break our self image.
I thought myself to be a very logical yet out of the box thinker who doesn't perceive the world as others but this book has broaden my horizon so much more. I've had a lot of wow moments and thought to myself that this author is very intelligent and gifted to able to look at life from every angle and dissect it and give reason to each thought or action and for it to make perfect sense.
This book speaks about facts of life. Thoughts and situations that go through all of our minds and dissects matters of life. Personally, i am a very realistic person and i approach life logically. I thoroughly enjoyed this because it touched on matters that i am personally interested in. The author teaches us to broaden our mindset, shift our ways of thinking and enlightens us on answers to questions that most wonder or haven't even thought about.
It will really help all individuals and improve lives. I recommend this book to all adults. It allows for some soul searching and reflection on one's character and takes a deep dive into the intellectual, spiritual and emotional world. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to improve their selves on every level. This book was very well written and i have not come across any spelling or grammar errors. For every reason mentioned above i have chosen to give this book a 4 out of 4 rating.
