Research shows that children raised without mothers tend to show more emotional problems. Later in life, they have trouble making a normal relationship and they struggle with abandonment, security issues and the ability to trust others.

The book Randy the Irresistible by S M Goodier, Randy Love faced the same emotional issues having being raised by John, his father; he was a free spirit and had the mindset that he was smarter than the average, found it difficult to commit to anything - from staying in one apartment to staying in a relationship to any girl. On the good side, he is a very good salesman, very impressionable and knows how to get people to believe in him.

There are a couple of things that I love about the book, number one is how well the plot was structured. The storyline was well written and organized. From the beginning of the book, the author gave us a background knowledge about the plot of the book. From there, with good narration skills, the author took his readers through an interesting journey of the lifestyle of Randy Love. The most interesting thing is that although the book is fictional, due how well the storyline was organized, it looked so much like a true life story.

The author is a skilled writer. He has his way with words. Like a good painter who knows how to creatively create a painting out of nothing, using brushes and colors, the author knew how to create scenes and images in the mind of the reader using words. His descriptions are very pictorial and easy to imagine. The author knows how to create a mental picture in the mind of his readers. A good example would be "A persistent banging woke a hung-over and red-eyed Randy. The thud of metal on wood was a particularly annoying blend of pitch and bass that reverberated around in his head until he could ignore it no longer. He dragged his reluctant body out of bed and down the stairs in order to open the front door, where a painful stream of sunlight hit him straight between the eyes, but, thankfully, the noise stopped." With these types of descriptions, it is easy to picture and relate with the scene that the author creates: a hung-over and red-eyed Randy and an angry Mrs Montague.

What I love most about the book is the witty humor that the author squeezed into the book. The humorous tone made it more interesting and fun for me. I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times while reading the book.

There was absolutely nothing that I disliked about the book.

The book was exceptionally edited. The editors did an amazing job, I found no errors in the book. I would rate the book four out of four stars . It's an interesting read with a spice of humor, if you're looking for a good way to pass, it's so book for you.
