Hayley and Payton know that when Grandma is around, there is no chance of boredom. They spend time doing fun activities together until they are exhausted. The garden is one of their favorite spots because they get to feed the birds. It is always fun to help Grandma with her pretty flowers. There is never a dull moment, with buttons to play with and dances to learn.

Grandma loves having the girls around. She enjoys teaching them new skills and loves joining them in exercise. This isn't always practical because she is not so young anymore. Injury can be very dangerous and the family worries over her. Luckily they can still draw and cook together. The girls enjoy every moment with Grandma. The memories that they make will be cherished in the years to come. At night they like watching programs on tv and they all fall asleep together because the girls beg Grandma not to go. Grandma doesn't mind because she loves them very much.

I enjoyed reading this colorful book. The story depicts positive interactions between children and an adult. There is so much love and joy radiating out of every page, that it creates a feeling of well-being in the reader. The activities that take place between the girls and their Grandma, transports one back to childhood. The games and fun are typical of most interactions between grandmas and their granddaughters, so children will relate to the book easily. It isn't a very long read, so even children that have short attention spans will enjoy the story.

There was nothing that I didn't like about Love, Grandma by Ann Morris. The illustrations are cute and colorful, which will hold any child captivated. The story is written in a poem format, resulting in a fun-filled read. The language is easy to grasp, rendering it suitable for even very young children. It also radiates peace and love, making it the ideal bedtime companion.

I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars because it was exceptionally well edited. There were zero errors. The illustrations depicted every activity expertly so that even a child that cannot read, will understand the story. I recommend this book to parents and grandparents that enjoy reading to their children. The book is best suited for children below the age of eight. Older children may become bored with the story, but the little ones will love it.
