Eytan Uliel's Man Mission tells a story about a friendship between four Australian friends who had a dream to travel around the world and try every unusual food they could find. It all started when Eytan and Sam went food-hunting together and discovered that they have the same food preference. They immediately became close friends, so Eytan began to tell Sam about his dreams, which included traveling around the world and trying unusual food. Sam was also interested in Eytan’s dreams and thought that they were cool. However, it’s not until they graduate from college and have their own career that they start to think about realizing their dreams. Therefore, they began their journey with two other friends, Eytan and Alec, and created an only-man adventure.

Man Mission is, without a doubt, an enthralling book. There are many things that I personally liked about this book. First, the story is real because this book serves as a memoir of the writer. Second, I loved the choice of the destination they have visited. The first country was New Zealand, which is my dream country to visit. I liked that this book gave me inspiration for what to do in New Zealand when I go there someday. Besides, the writing style is amazing. It vividly describes the places and the atmosphere of the places they visited. Therefore, I could imagine how the places look even though I haven't been physically there. In addition, each journey is filled with moments of humor. It makes the book less dry than I expected. Besides, there are also moments of flashback that give suspense to each character’s story.

I couldn't think of something that I disliked about this book. I really enjoyed every line of dialogue, every conversation, every story, and every adventure. If it wasn't because of my cats that always beg for attention, I could probably finish this book in one sitting.

As a result, I give this book a four out of four stars rating. There are many insights that I can take from this book. One of them is freedom. I interpret the men’s dream as an escape from society’s expectations. By traveling, they enjoy every moment without thinking about phone calls or emails from work. They are totally free. Besides, this book was professionally edited since I didn't find punctuation or grammatical errors.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read books about adventures and travel. Trust me; this book won't disappoint you.
