This remarkable book of the day, The East Wind, 2nd Edition: Can the Team Foil the Plot to Blow Up American Cities? (Lara and Uri Book 1) by Jack Winnick is about one of the most fictional, sadistic, planned terrorism attacks preceding 9/11, train bombings in Madrid and London, and café explosions in Tel Aviv, and opening with an explosive prologue dated December 9, 2013. The book also brings awareness and reminds us to say something when we see someone or something suspicious.

The author, likewise, displays an array of personas like Ed, a well-kept married man who resides in a lavish condo in Marina del Rey during the summer months. While his wife Ellen and their daughters, Chelsea and Kirsten, remain in New Hampshire until the Christmas break. Amongst them is Uri Levin, an Israeli and Special Operations arm of Mossad, who crosses paths with Lara Edmond, Special Agent of the FBI. At first glance, there is a spark brewing between them. Then just like that, love is in the air! Albeit, gullible does not begin to reflect the infamous Walid Jahangir: recruited at 16 now 29, dreams of becoming a war hero for the Islamic revolution (Muslim empire). Rather more like a war criminal noted in the U. S. More to the point, does Walid instantly have a conscience? Will Uri and Lara be able to save American soil in time from mass destruction? I surely hope sooner than later! Besides, what about Hossein Souriani? Who will put an end to his reign of terror? And what in the world becomes of (happen to) Israel? All extensive enough to explore—even the wind from the east.

But since I shy away from evil, I wouldn't say I like terrorists much. However, the one thing I do like about the narrative is how the author gives the reader a behind-the-scenes look into planning disturbing schemes of terrorism—the inside scoop. At the same time, as each chapter captured my attention, I, too, like how the plot speeds up roundabout chapter 16: December 2013, as the entire story caused my temperature to boil!

Additionally, can you imagine training a child to be brainwashed and influenced into fiendish madness? Undoubtedly, it takes a village to pull off such wickedness like Hamas and Hezbollah—recruiting vulnerable and naïve undergraduates who take pleasure in seeing Americans die, which I do not like! Sheep in wolves' clothing is what they are.

Because East Wind, 2nd Edition: Can the Team Foil the Plot to Blow Up American Cities? (Lara and Uri Book 1) blew my mind, and my skin crawled; I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars! On the one hand, this book might trigger many. On the other, maybe not. One way or the other, I recommend treading lightly with caution when reading East Wind, 2nd Edition. Be careful of the world-wide-web and disguised college students! They probably exist in the real world. Hopefully, in real-time, "we will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate ours" for no Ekdikeo—vengeance in return. Moreso, want more adventure to enjoy? Grab a copy of Jack Winnick's sequels, book two: Devil Among Us: Lara and Uri Book 2, along with books 3, 4, and 5 available at Amazon.com. Bravo, Jack Winnick, on a dynamic read! I agree; there is something to be said about the "east wind!" I could not put the book down!
