Review of Happiness is All We Want!
Happiness Is All We Want! written by Ashutosh Mishra, is an amazing self-help book. This book is a treatise on the happiness of a human being. This book is divided into three sections. The first section discusses mental well-being. The second section discusses physical well-being; the third section discusses spiritual well-being. Mishra describes the self-destructive habits of the mind. He encourages his reader to overcome such habits by properly training the mind. The audience is advised to practice meditation on a daily basis.
The audience is educated on the factors that cause their minds to be agitated; they are given the solutions to such agitations. The reader is strongly advised to minimise the use of their mobile phones. It is important for our physical bodies to be fit and healthy; the author tells us how to achieve it. Detailed information on balanced diets for a healthy body is provided in this text. The audience is educated on the best physical exercises for the body. The reader is advised to minimise entertainment. Mishra narrates the story of how he became spiritual. He gives the reader the techniques for spiritual effectiveness. He makes it clear to the audience that they have a duty to take care of themselves.
I simply love this book. I could write twenty pages of review for this book; this tells you how wonderful the book is. This text contains information that will save millions of people from depression. People are told the truth about the source of happiness. We are informed that happiness is not gotten from material possessions; rather, it is gotten from mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.
I love the incorporation of interesting stories throughout the text. This technique ensures that the book did not become boring for the reader; for instance, Mishra recounts the story of how he became spiritual. The best thing about this book is the practicality of the solutions proferred by the author. I am an avid reader of self-help books. Most of them profer solutions that are impractical. Happiness Is All We Want! provides practical solutions. Such practical solutions include yoga, prayer, meditation, physical exercise, a balanced diet, and mindfulness. The writing style of the author is simple, easy, and enjoyable.
Happiness Is All We Want! is the best self-help book I have read this year. However, I noticed a flaw in it; there are some grammatical errors. The book needs another round of professional editing. Despite the errors, it is my opinion that the book is professionally edited.
This book is a creative, educative, thoughtful, and detailed exposition on the strategies for the improvement of a human being in the important aspects of life. However, I noticed some errors in the text. Consequently, I rate Happiness Is All We Want 3 out of 4 stars.
Those that are living below their potential and strongly desire to improve their lives should read this book. If you are depressed, then I really encourage you to read this book.
