What will you do if you were send back in time to relive your life once again? Will you prefer to rectify the biggest mistake you'd enacted in your previous life? Here's a book to gain perspective to the above question, The Watchmaker's Doctor by G. M. T. Schuilling.

Anaya, thirty-five-year-old doctor, has been looking after Gregory, a retired watchmaker and resident of an aged care facility, who is her first patient at St. Jude. He gifted her a watch which was his own creation. When Anaya encountered an accident, time reversed and she found herself sitting with Greg. To avoid her death she time travelled to eighteen years back, when she was seventeen years old.She decided to rectify the mistake of dropping out of school at seventeen which she regretted the most. Her friends, Tay and Kaitlin were surprised when they saw her changing her life decisions she'd previously confined to them.

In her previous life, she'd been raped and abused, were self-medicating her bipolar disorder, refused to get help and distanced herself from her family and everyone else who dared to come near her.
In her relive moments, she takes medical help to treat her bipolar with her father getting cured of his sickness as well. She didn't isolated herself this time and chose a career which was perfect for her, and she also meets the person who loved her. But after the death of Kait, she realised that no one can overcome death and becomes scared by the thought. Will she die soon as well, in accordance to her lifetime?

This book gives a better perspective towards life and death. One thing which I liked about this book was that it emphasized how people live their lives with fear of death, which is a certain thing and is irresistible. Anaya time travelled to avoid her accident and while reliving the moments she ultimately fears the upcoming death. There's a motivational quote from this book which inspired me as a reader to follow my dreams, which is as follows:

"How readily we crush our dreams, without even turning over the first stone, so willing to be the victims of circumstance!"

I've got nothing to dislike about this book. This book is exceptionally well edited. I would like to give this book 4 out of 4 stars for the author's creativity in bringing up such an amazing work. Do read this book to find out the things you regret the most in your life and gain a perspective of living your life without regrets ahead.

I would like to suggest this book to everyone who likes to read fiction and fantasy genre books. People suffering from bipolar disorder can take inspiration from Anaya to take help from the people around them instead of getting isolated. This book contains profanity and child abuse, a reader needs to be aware of.
