The Maestro Monologue by Rob White is a twenty nine-chaptered self-help book with four parts that deal with the psychological constitution of our being. It does an all round description of what it means to be at the peak of our mental health and to harness the vast and fertile potential that lies in us.

Rob White takes us through a journey of learning how to manifest and live a life full of positivity. He informs us of what is at stake, that The intruder is trying to take control of our lives and therefore, it is time to take back the reigns. The full positive mental potential in us is The Maestro, who will give us the full satisfaction of what it means to be human. Rob explains to us how to achieve The Ultimate Understanding (UU) and how to avoid miss-understandings.

What I especially liked about the book is the fact that the Rob White explains the concepts in a manner that is easy to grasp. He does not use technical terminologies that are only understood by specific persons but instead, he explains every detail from a layman’s perspective. This makes the book easy to understand. Furthermore, I admire the fact that the book uses examples that are relatable from a personal point of view which gives the audience a personal experience all throughout the adventurous journey that is reading the book. There was repetition throughout the book that makes the important concepts become a mantra to the audience. I personally deemed the repetition to be healthy and worthwhile due to the impact that it had on me as both a reader and a human with a mental space worth the healing.

I did not come across any grammatical or spelling errors in the book which means that the editorial work was spot-on. There was no use of profane or vulgar language in the book. I, therefore, award the book 4 out of 4 stars because I see no reason to award any lower rating than this.

I would recommend the book to anyone seeking to discover their full psychological potential and to have the highest mental health attainable. There were some Christian connotations such as use of biblical characters or Bible verses but this does not deter a wider audience other than those of the Christian faith from benefiting from the insights of Rob White. I, therefore, invite any person with a mental space worth the saving and healing to partake in the important insights that Rob White has bestowed upon us in this book.
