Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula

[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
Mom had carried her kittens and dogs to a French patisserie competition. On their way, Enzo, her rival, tried to steal her cheese to make her lose. There's a competition going on at the demilitarized zone, which is the border fence that divides the Korean Peninsula. It's a friendly cookery competition to bring peace between North and South Korea. North and South Korea have been at loggerheads for years; the border between the two countries is closed to civilians. However, something happens and the kittens must break the rule. They have to cross the demilitarized zone. What would be the fate of the competition? Would the kittens be punished?
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a great children's book written by R.F. Kristi. Kristi had always loved detective stories. After getting her pet, Inca, she was motivated to write this great book for children. Inca, the head of the cat detective company, is the narrator in this story. She talks about friendship, love, envy, and the Siberian race. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is the eighth book of the "Inca Detective Cat Series".
I believe this book would be fun and educative for children. I liked that the author tried to infuse international relations into this cat detective book. There's information on the dispute between the Korean and Southern Peninsula. While it isn't very detailed, it's just enough to inform the children and still retain their attention. Again, reading this piece could teach children about different species of animals.
I found some errors in this book. They were just a few, so I believe this book was professionally edited. My only concern would be the number of characters in the book. Though there's a family tree that introduces the characters, children have a short attention span and could mix up the characters as they go further into the story. I'll rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It deserves a perfect rating. It's educative and informative. It teaches children about love, peace, and unity.
This book would be enjoyed by children between the ages of 6 and 12. Parents would also have a great time reading this book with their children.

I loved children’s books mainly because of how descriptive and creative they can be. This definitely sounds like something I’d like to read.
