[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Do you have friends? Do you enjoy hanging out with them? Do you enjoy traveling to different places? If your answer in at least one of the questions above is yes, then Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is for you.
Man Mission is based on the true story of four adventurous men. It all started with the two law students who met in college, Eytan and Sam. While they are still in law school, they planned to travel to exotic locations to sample every edible thing they can find and try different outdoor activities. Years passed by, Sam called him and told him to pursue their long-planned trip. As Eytan and Sam travel more, their two friends, Alec and Daniel, join them. And that's when this book was born.
My favorite part of this book is the way the author narrates the story. Instead of telling to the readers the details, he shows them using words that can be easily comprehended. He creatively narrates every scene to the point that I feel like I'm a part of their circle of friends and their every travel. Eytan makes his readers see and imagine every scene he narrates as they turn the pages of this book.
Another feature of this book I personally liked is the little maps Eytan includes at the beginning of every chapter. These little maps give hints where do these adventurous men go next. Eytan also includes in this map some of the landmarks of the country or place they go to.
This book is not just about the adventurous travel of four men. This book is about their lives. It is about how they met their 'the one,' how they start their family, how they balance their work and personal times, and many more important events of their lives. As this book comes very creatively, this book is also filled with life lessons that everyone could relate to.
Man Mission is worth the read. Every reader will not just entertain, but will also learn a lot of things. I just noticed some minor errors and it didn't affect the quality of the book. Except for the minor errors, I found no reason to dislike this book and deduct any stars from my rating. I gladly rate this book a complete rating of four out of four stars. This book is highly recommended to readers who like traveling with their friends.
