[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids" by Jemima Paul, Arvind Paul.]
Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is a wonderful Christian children’s book. The book is about two little girls and their adventurous dreams to heaven. Their parents narrated stories about Jesus daily and shared great knowledge about God’s love for all living beings. The story even sets a perfect parenting example.
Emma and her younger sister, Bella, had a beautiful house, loving parents, and all that a child requires to be happy. Emma’s parents spent quality time with girls and enriched their minds and souls with teachings about God. They wanted the girls to know that God loves them dearly, and they too should love God the same way. One night, Emma had a dream about God and heaven. She saw many miraculous things and excitedly shared her dream with her parents and little sister. Emma’s parents told her that her dream might be God’s way to tell her something special. Thenceforth, Emma frequently had dreams about God and heaven. What was the special purpose of Emma’s dreams? What were the lovely things Emma saw in those dreams? Explore this delightful book to know.
Parents are the first teachers of a child. This book shows how positive parenting can help a child live in heaven right here on earth itself. The authors have a passion for serving the Lord as a family. This passion motivated them to write this inspirational story. Their story can set a foundation of God’s love in the hearts of many children. I loved the concept of the book. It is an entertaining as well as educational journey to God’s heart.
There is nothing that I dislike in this book. The narration of the story is intriguing. Each character possessed unique qualities, and their dialogues complimented them. I could picture each conversation in my mind and felt my presence right there. The beautiful illustrations of the book were like the cherry on the top. The expressive and colorful pictures brought the characters to life.
I happily rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. The book is a perfect way to imbibe moral values in kids at a young age. This story is a fascinating way to teach children about Christianity and introduce them to the Bible. The book instills moral values in kids that will consistently show them the right path in life. Few Bible verses are also mentioned in the book that helps the reader to refer more about that topic.
Furthermore, the book is written in simple language and is exceptionally edited. I would recommend this book to children within the age of 3 to 12 years. I suggest parents of young children read this book as a bedtime read for their child. This excellent read will work wonders in your child’s moral development. The parent-child relationship in the book is heavenly too. So, take a walk in heaven with this intriguing read.
