Brace yourself for an exciting, thrilling, and adventurous ride with Eytan, Sam, Alec, and Daniel. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is the story of four friends navigating the journey of life. They have different things happening in their lives, however, they still make room for missions and adventures together. These missions not only strengthen the bonds between them but also help them escape their challenges and busy schedules.

The friends start with a difficult hike in New Zealand. They do not realize they are so unprepared for this hike until they are way in it and cannot retreat. Eytan suffers a knee injury midway through and is unable to complete the expedition. This trip would form the basis of all the other expeditions they would later go to. For the next fifteen years, they visit a number of countries and do a lot of fun activities. These friends experience all the good and bad that come with risky and fun adventures. From the comfort of luxurious hotels to the fear of meeting lions in the forests, these friends stick together in all circumstances. Like with any other quality friendships, they share banter, laughter, and tears.

I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. It was not only exciting and adventurous but also relatable. It did not seem like a work of fiction because of the honest and deep conversations the characters had in the book. The challenges these men had in their careers and marriages were so relatable and real. I loved the book's portrayal of what friendship is all about. It shows us what it looks like when men have each other's backs. Even challenges become easier to overcome.

Uliel has a way with words that keeps the reader refreshed. His description of landscapes and events is top shelf. Right from the first hike, I felt like I was with them in the deserted woods and plains of New Zealand. I loved his sense of humor too, I laughed out a couple of times as I read the book. I also enjoyed how he alternated the trips with stories of what was happening in their lives. It was like before every adventure he was explaining to us what he and his friends were escaping from.

The author used simple and relatable language. There were instances of profanity and sexual content that I think enhanced the writing. The editing was exceptional. There was nothing negative I could point out in the book.

I, therefore, give it a perfect rating of four out of four stars. I'd recommend it to lovers of travel and adventure. Those interested in learning about friendships could also use this book.
