Walking down the memory lane brings happiness and nostalgia. People write diaries, take pictures, shoot videos, etc., to keep their present memories alive forever. Ann Morris has created a children's book called Love, Grandma for her beautiful granddaughters Haley and Payton, where she shares her treasured memories whole-heartedly. This animated book brings back many warm feelings and sweet memories for the reader. It showcases and explores the authentic relationship which grandkids share with their grandparents.

The book is a collection of short poems presenting many beautiful memories of Ann Morris with her granddaughters. All the poems rhyme well with a fun and catchy tone. The book has wonderful illustrations by David Gnass. Each poem has its own picture showing the memory behind it. This makes the children understand the book a little better. It focuses on how grateful Ann feels to have connected with her grandkids during the early stages of their lives.

I really liked the book. I can remember my grandmother reading something similar to a book like this to me when I was young. The best part about having a grandparent is getting immense amounts of love, care, support, freedom to do anything, and having all the fun in the world, which Ann Morris has put across to her readers really well. The illustrations are very eye-catching. This book radiates happiness and positivity. This book makes everyone go back to their childhood and miss the sweet love of their grandparents.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. It is very appealing to kids and readers. Rhyming poems and colorful illustrations make this book an instant favorite on my list.

I rate this book four out of four stars. I felt all the good and warm feelings while going through this book. I can see parents or grandparents reciting this book to their kids and having a great time.

I recommend this book to the familes who have small children. In my opinion, this book is best suitable for kids below the age of ten. This book can also be read to the kids during their book club time. It would be a good choice as a bedtime poetry book as well.
