[Following is a volunteer review of "Soul-Fullness" by Tosin King James.]
Soul-Fullness by Tosin King James is a 21-step guide to practical spirituality and personal growth. Spanning over a 21-day period, each day represents a step towards becoming more aware of your spiritual abilities and how to apply them in your day-to-day life.
Throughout these steps, the author shares personal stories and encounters of his communication with Guardian Angels (Spirit Guides) and his visits to Spiritual Realms, he also shares stories of his peers as they awaken to their true selves, adding a deeper and more practical understanding of each step.
The author makes you look past the rule-based ways of practicing religion, to experience a less rigid, more habitual connection to the source of all life.
On page 151, the author states that "Among the group of the bold, who were willing to consider a fresh angle to life..." and made me come to the realization that we as humans are at a turning point in our collective evolution of consciousness, more and more people seem to gravitate towards a less dogmatic and more natural way of practicing faith, adding to the book's worth in guiding you onto a more conscious and clear Spiritual path, also giving reassurance of the speed of each person's spiritual connection being unique.
I cannot think of a negative point to this book, it is well written, fast-paced and it felt natural and fluid, it felt as though I am supposed to be reading it at the exact time that I did.
It's very inclusive and respectful to strong ethical systems of belief while challenging the traditional ways of practicing faith. This may be why some parts may feel difficult to get through if you have a very set practice of religion, but with an open mind, an open heart, and the willingness to try, it can have a very positive outcome. As the author wrote on page 131 that "The adult relies on the mind, which is like a computer (...) whereas the child relies on the imagination, which feeds on Spirit."
I enjoyed this book so much, it challenged me to expand my view on what religion can become and how to recognize love in its most spiritual form.
Bringing up very interesting and new perspectives, also being very well edited, Soul-Fullness deserves a 4 out of 4 rating.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants a new outlook on life while learning to better connect with Spirit and take control of the way they perceive the experience that is living.
